Tried to get the feel of a Beatrix Potter watercolour but my rather brasher style came out and I finished with copics. Oh well, I'm still pleased with it.
The only editing I did was to shop in the writing on the blackboard and some cropping to fix the composition. So it practically the same as it appears in real life! Thats a first...

I think I'll need to sell this one... or burn it.
My family is rather homophobic so I don't think they'll appreciate it.

This is perhaps the only time I've ever commented on a piece (that didn't belong to a friend), but I simply couldn't resist telling you that this painting is, by far, my absolute FAVORITE piece of fanart for this pairing, without a single doubt. Literally everything about it is pleasing to me. The paint job and shading are incredible, the line work is SO CLEAN and intentional and detailed (hell, even the background is full of detail on the wood paneling and whatnot), and then their EXPRESSIONS even though they're ANIMALS and John's look of utter surprise! The proximity! The anatomy! How well they wear their normal clothes! Sherlock's look of complete adoration! I just... I cannot convey how much I absolutely love this piece.

You have so many comments already, so i'm sure mine will probably be missed, but damn I couldn't resist telling you how talented I think you are. A+ my friend. A fucking +

I certainly would buy a drawing like this... I'm not really in this otter/hedgehog thing, but this is brilliant, and yes, it has the Beatrix Potter feel in it. If you make more in this style, with otters or not, please tell me and give me prices!
